Well...duh....

From the Department of Defense website:

We are also going against a very dedicated enemy, and sometimes we forget that," Hagee continued. "They believe just as strongly - I think incorrectly, but just as strongly - in what they are trying to achieve as we believe in what we are trying to achieve."

Of course they believe they're right. If they didn't, they wouldn't be doing it, now would they? And of course you think they're incorrect, or you wouldn't be doing what you're doing.

So what the hell is it we believe so strongly in? Democracy? Helping those in need? Because if that's it, I know some people in Africa who could use our help a lot more. I'm not sure what we believe in in Iraq now, unless it's "proving our point." *sigh*

that's one of the dumbest things I heard in quite a while
How did that quote about stating the obvious go?

Dear Department of Defense:

What part of "Jihad" don't you understand?

They are all cybernetic organisms.

(I like the word, 'gnashes'. Let's all say it, 'gnashes.' :)
