Costumes

Forgot to mention yesterday that Target had a range of costumes that were 1980's charactatures. Can I tell you how horribly old that made me feel, to know that my generation is long enough ago they can make Halloween costumes out of it.

There was, for example, a Miami Vice costume, and a Punk Rocker costume.* and, God help us, a Madonna costume.

Scary.


*Which, frankly, is much more 'new wave' than punk, thank you very much.

I agree with the 'not looking back in shame' thing. I managed to avoid most things neon, so that was a relief. I did do the whole off the shoulder sweatshirt thing, though.

Glad you like it! I love Bono, but I also love mocking him. Because he really is a great big dork. Icon credit goes to plathegreat85, for all my U2 icons, actually, and they're all silly (another one with this post).
