Witch Hat Cookies

I made cookies for Charlie's school party tomorrow, and I thought I'd share.

Here they are:

Probably the easiest cookie to make - take a bunch of Keebler Fudge Stripe cookies, and turn them over so the stripe part is at the bottom.

Then get a bag of Hershey Kisses. Unwrap a bunch of the kisses, then place them over the hole on the cookie.

Then get a red icing tube thingy, (remembering that you have to buy a tip seperately, because I totally forgot that last year) and 'glue' the kiss to the cookie as see in the photo.

And totally bake-free cookies. And everyone likes them. And they look cool.

I meant to mention yesterday that there was this little girl at the party who I think really thought I was Snow White. She kept staring at me with these big eyes, and called me Snow White, and hugged me a lot. It was so sweet. Made my day.

Am going to try to nap now. Have a cold. Tragic, no?

has decreed that no one may bring homemade treats to any school functions whatsoever. Because...why? Was there logic behind that decision? Must be a conspiracy between the government and the packaged food industry.

The alleged thinking behind it is that the food isn't prepared by licensed cooks in inspected kitchens. So you have to go to the grocery store and get a sealed package of whatevers to give them.

Another thing they did was to ensure that students may not be given 'unhealthy' foods on school grounds. So, no cupcakes, no chocolate bars, nada. I'm so glad that they have our children's best interests at heart...and if you believe that...
