Grumble grumble grumble
Jun. 18th, 2004 08:45 amStupid Pep Boys. They didn't fix my car even a little bit. $250 they charged me for a new thermostat and flushing the system, and apparently that wasn't what the problem was, because the car is still over-bloody-heating. Now I've had to take a day off of work to take it to a mechanic I trust so he can fix it properly.
Grrrr.
Life is suffering. Right? Right. Must transcend it, and look at the bright side...I'm looking...well, it's not raining, I can get stuff done around the house (or at least play on the computer without feeling guilty) and at least the overheating didn't destroy my car.
This is why one shouldn't allow material possessions to be the sourse of one's happiness, because all material things have within them the seed for eventual unhappiness. So, I'll be grateful for not being stuck at the side of the road, and having a very hot, sunny, Friday off.
Or at least I'll try.
I have more chapters of my Highlander story up if anyone is interested: http://www.fanfiction.net/read.php?storyid=1859231
