Or so I keep telling myself.

Here is a silly 'meme' thing I gakked from [livejournal.com profile] zambonigirl That cheered me up marginally. My Alias )

I joined [livejournal.com profile] johnkerry04 the other day. Just for fun. Sometimes I think it would be more fun to join [livejournal.com profile] bush2004 just to get a debate going, but I don't know how well they would like that. Especially with people signinig loyalty oaths and suchlike before they can go hear Bush or Cheney speak.

So, I was on Monster.com yesterday and I saw my job being advertised. I knew they were going to bring someone else in, but it's my whole job, which makes me wonder what they were planning on having me do. So now I'm just really upset. Gah. I hate working. I should've married rich, or something.

And my son has been at my mom's since Tuesday, having a little alone time with the grandparents. He's having fun. I'm missing him. I called yesterday and he got on the phone and said 'Mommy, are you coming here in a second?' Which made me almost want to cry. But I'm taking tomorrow off (yay!) and going there in the morning, so that's fine. And meanwhile, I'm having some alone time, which is nice. Would have been nicer if my poor husband didn't get some weird skin disease. Celluitus, or something. But, went out with my two best girlfriends, who were also kidless last night, and tonight am going to another friend's house for her birthday. So yay.

Speaking of the birthday, I went to Hot Topic to get her a Harry Potter shirt, and thanks to [livejournal.com profile] deleterius I kept giggling. Every item of clothing made me think of a "Hermione/Ginny changed over the summer" fan fiction. And so much of that stuff was the stuff I was into in the 80's. Not sure if that makes me still cool, or really old.
