The joys of motherhood
I have to give my son an enema.
This is a child who doesn't like getting his hair cut, and now I am going to have to somehow keep him calm while I shove something in his bum.
Yeah...That's going to be easy.
This will be a story I will laugh about one day. Not today, of course, but one day. Perhaps I can even use it if I want to be 'embarrassing mom' to his future girlfriends. "Charlie, tell Emma about the time I had to give you an enema." Then I can whip out his naked baby pictures, including the one of him in the tub.
This led me to thinking of all the things one does as a mother that one never thought one could do without getting sick. Like catching vomit in your hand. Always an adventure.
Anyone have any experience in giving a 4 foot, 52 pound boy an enema? Cause I'm not looking forward to it.
