On the second day of Christmas...
Dec. 27th, 2004 11:07 amHusband was up all night* Christmas night with a stomach virus that was, naturally, passed on to Charlie, who was up all last night. Meanwhile, I've been suffering with a cold since Wednesday. (Am rather hoping the cold germs will keep the virus away from me, but seeing as my nephew, brother-in-law AND my mother were also infected with the virus, I'm not holding out much hope.)
I'm at work today, still sick and totally loopy from contiuious lack of sleep. Boss is urging me to go home, which I may well do. Would like to think of something more intellegent to say than this, but brain isn't working.
Sister found her luggage, by the way. She was relieved. She wound up going back to the airport on Christmas day, and found it amongst a big pile of luggage that was waiting there.
Oh - other sister bought me a board game that I already had, so I took it back to Barnes and Noble where she'd purchased it, and bought Trivial Pursuit Booklover's Edition. How cool it that! All book questions.
*Can someone explain why my husband had the need to wake me each time to tell me he was sick? To paraphrase Scrooge, an unbroken night's sleep would have been better for my welfare. Sigh.
