So here's my day

Charlie had a freak out this morning when I dropped him off at school. I'm not sure exactly what triggered it, but he was looking at the clock in the car, wanting to see it turn to 8:15, and his friend Tyrell, who I drive to school went ahead of him. So I"m pulling away when I hear Charlie calling to me, and see him standing on the sidewalk looking disraught. I turn around, and go back to see what the matter is. He is crying because Tyrell left him. So then he doesn't want to go to school. I spend the next 15 minutes trying to convince him to go into the classroom, and finally have to leave him with his teachers, still out on the sidewalk. 45 minutes later I get a call telling me Charlie says he doesn't feel well and wants to go home.

So, I spent the day at home, not getting anything done like I should have. Charlie, meanwhile, is fine.

We got this new (newish) computer, and for whatever reason when we downloaded the new iinternet software, it wouldn't connect to the interweb. It is connected now, because I just reinstalled it. And hopefully, should I try to get on again later, it will still work. But now the speed of the typing is very slow. I don't know why. It is very annoying.

I had more to say, but this slow typing thing is bugging me. Must go figure it out.

By the way [livejournal.com profile] chavvah, Charlie is sending you a thank you note. and [livejournal.com profile] katje0711, I'm glad you got the Tastykakes. I was beginning to worry. Fortunately they have a long shelf life. :)
