Let not the marriage of two minds
Today is my 14th wedding anniversary, which I will be spending at callbacks for Twelfth Night. Not that we ever do anything terribly exciting for our anniversary anyway.
Anyway, here is a photo of me 14 years ago today.

Got married at 11am. I didn't want to have to wait all day to be a bride. I wanted to be a bride all day. No fun spending all that money on a dress if you only get to wear it for a couple of hours.
We went to Salem MA for our honeymoon. What? I'd always wanted to go there, and the husband's not a beach person, and I liked the idea of going North in the summer. It was the tricentennial of the witch trials, too, so there was tons going on. We had fun.
Right. Back to work.

I was a month pregnant and got married the Thursday before Spring Break. I wasn't able to keep water or crackers down over the weekend and passed out at the doctors office on Monday morning. I woke up on a gurney rolling down the hall and spent the week in the hospital on an IV.
So, not only my honeymoon, but Freshman year spring break in the hospital pregnant and sicker than a dog. It was quite the pregnancy-I had a healthy week or so in the middle of it. It is funny as said child is now older than I was through all of that, but imagine I will remember it into my dotage.
