I think that you should have it formally appraised by an antiques shop. There might be a bit of damage, but someone skilled with antiques should be able to fix it, and the original hardware is amazing. I think that someone who loves vintage/art deco-ey sort of pieces would really enjoy this, and be willing to spend a goodly sum. I think an antiques dealer can help you figure out what that goodly sum should be, and they might even be able to help you sell it. In fact, they'd be stupid not to.

I think the other piece is called a sideboard, or maybe a highboy, but I'm not 100%.
