Furniture

So, I'm planning on selling my dining room furniture so I can buy 'casual lounge' type things, since we hardly ever really use the dining room and I think I'd like to have a 'formal' room and a lounge type place for the television.

Anyway, I called my mom to ask her what kind of furniture it was, and she told me it was bought by her parents some time around 1940, and it was made by J.B. VanSciver, which was a big furniture maker back in the day. Cherry wood.

My question is, how much do you think I should ask?

This is what I am selling:

The table has a damaged leg, and the side table thing has some water damage, but other than that the stuff is in really good shape.

And also, which do you recommend for getting the best deal, eBay or Craigslist?

ok one call the antiques dealer but for an apraisal, caus ehe is going to want his cut if he buys it. then load in on a trade me site that makes people bid for the items......a good description and set a reserve price they cans sell for lees of and then you will get the bet possible price if not more.
just my humble addicted to trading on line opinion. lol
