Dear Weird spam thing that popped up as I was surfing the web:

What the heck? It's bad enough when adverts pop up and start talking to me, but when an advert starts talking to me without a pop-up, it's bloody creepy.

And like I'd really believe some disembodied spam voice telling me I won a trip to Florida. Yeah, I'll pick that up right after I pay for the Brooklyn Bridge, thanks.

And I especially don't like the fact I can't figure out where you are, so I can't close the program.

So stop it, kay?

AIM used to have talking ads at the top of the buddy lists. I don't know if that's what got you but it might have been.
