Long-term best friends are wonderful. I have one from high school who lives out in Washington state now, but we see each other as often as our busy lives and bank balances allow us. In fact, I get to go see her this coming spring, so I'm very happy about that.

Oh, and thanks for getting the Courtship of Eddie's Father theme stuck in my head! ;) Seriously, I loved that show. I always wanted the housekeeper and him to get together. I don't remember what happened in the end, but it made me see Bill Bixby as a father figure ever after.
