Right, so Doctor Who...

You know, years ago when Murphy Brown had just had her contraversial baby on the show Murphy Brown, an the running joke of the season* was what she was going to name it, TV guid did a little blurby article the week the naming episode aired, and gave the name. Which was a spoiler, but no one called it that because the term hadn't been coined at the time.
Sorry. Idle thought. But with that in mind, Okay, did he look totally "Don't Stand So Close to Me" in that teacher get up or what?
I love the switch they've done. You have a very human "John Smith" and Martha is now the alien; the one who knows what is really going on.
Off the top of my head, I can't remember what the Doctor said his father's name was, but I thought it was neat that his mother's name was "Verity", which means truth. And the father was a watchmaker - the watch has the truth.
And this is a real stretch, but I am wondering if that kid from Love Actually and Nanny McFee is going to be somehow connected to Mr Saxon. He keeps opening the watch that holds the Time Lord essence, and there was some hints that the Doctor is still the only Time Lord but not really. So who knows.
The scarecrow soldiers - creepy. They are so good at the creepy nightmare monsters. I hope Jenny isn't dead, although with this show I don't hold out hope that she survived.
I really hate two-parters. Waiting until Saturday to find out what happened next is just cruel.
