Before I start whinging, I must point out, once again, that elfmanfan is made of awesome. She's watching Charlie today and tomorrow.

I had to bring Charlie to work with me yesterday, since I had no one - his Dad watched him on Tuesday - and that was hard. He was great, of course, but I'm sure he was bored, and I felt ackward.

Also, I got told to 'slow down' because I made some mistakes. Typical me. I'm 'doing a great job, but...' I don't know what is wrong with me. And then the whole day was like that. Blurgh.

Plus, I'm planning on moving out this weekend, and, well, I think my brain is just not really processing what that all means, and on top of the usual packing ickiness, it is making me want to scream. Or curl up in a ball and go to sleep.

Funny thing about moving, though. I haven't moved since 1995, when the internet didn't exist in its present incarnation, so I was thinking, 'oh, I have to go to the post office to forward my mail, I have to go to the DMV to change my address on my license, etc.' but I didn't. It's all on line now. Dur.

All in all, I will be happy when this week is over and done with.

Be careful doing the DMV crap online. I did it, and it never went thru. I was totally pissed, and I was about to strangle someone after 6 months. I worked those same hours that the DMV had, which made it impossible to go there. If you need to, go to West Deptford at 8am on Saturday morning. I shit you not - in and out in ten minutes. I love it there.
