Happy thoughts...happy thoughts
My friend and I were once talking about 'counting your blessings' and I countered that, yes, I know it is important to count the blessings I do have, and I try to but the thing was, I just wanted more blessings to count.
That being said, I was thinking last night that I'm pretty lucky - no one I care about is ill or dying; I've not had to deal with any sudden deaths among my friends and family, I've got friends who like me, both here on the interweb and in RL, so I'm good.
Charlie did a 'book about me' in school, and one section he had to complete this sentence: The one thing I would never change about me is and he wrote the way I am. I need to take his advice.
And in more 'cute Charlie' news, he did this little essay on spring time.
It's a bit hard to read. What it says is Spring is here. Flowers grow in the spring. It gets warmer outside. In the spring I like to ride my bike. I like to get some flowers and plant'em. Plant'em. That's how he wanted to write it, his teacher didn't help him at all. He knew how to use the appostrophe.
Hey,
slammerkinbabe, my friend belongs to this message board site called Knockturn Alley, and apparently one of the members was recently revealed to have completely fabricated a life for herself, complete with a fictitious baby that died in infancy. It of course totally made me think of that book you're working on. She also has a live journal, where she confesses. I do feel sorry for her. She obviously didn't have very much self esteem. (and I'm sure everyone on my friends list won't 'flame' this girl, which is the only reason I'm posting it.)
