Tell me is there life on Mars?

Oh, My God. Life on Mars. Perfect television. Really. The twist where he really began to believe he was Sam Williams in 1973, and the symbolism of being in a tunnel before coming out of his coma, and the parallel of him being on the roof of the building in the first episode...I can't even be coherent about the georgousness of this whole thing. I LOVE how he switched the station at the end, and I love how he will still continue to bring his 2007 sensibilities to 1973, but without the added burden of trying to leave, and I love the little girl at the end - and oh my God she scared the crap out of me when she showed up in the doorway. Oh, and I love how Ray bonded with Sam at the end. And I love the Sam/Gene bickering. And the kiss. And how he told his mum how he had to leave, and she let him go, even if it didn't seem like that.

And I'm so glad there wasn't a 'and you were there, and you were there and you were there' moment when he woke, with the exception of Frank Morgan.

I'm going to miss that show.

In Real Life:

Charlie is going to be featured in the Little League highlights in the town paper, apparently:

04/09/07 United Computers – 4 vs. Independent Alarm – 8

Game Highlights

Charlie Alutius of United Computers hit a single, scored a run, and made several critical stops in Rightfield to earn one of the United Game balls Andrew Plotts received the 2nd game ball for pitching a great 2 1/2 innings, striking out 4 batters and only allowing one run to score.

It's almost 11am and I'm still in my jammies. Not sure what my problem is. Spring break, I guess.

I did apply for a tutoring position, so we'll see how that goes. Fingers crossed it is a Good Thing.

I finally started my personal training yesterday. I'm aching today, but in a good way.

We had some people drop out of our play, and now we are needing men for the smaller parts. (It's his poor wife I feel sorry for...) It figures the first time I get a decent part we're having difficulties. Le Sigh. Hey, [livejournal.com profile] elfmanfan, know any boys who would be interested?

Right. Really need to get my day started. Here I go. Watch me. Yup, I'm getting up now. Now. Here I go.
