Last Week of 2011
I didn't take any time off work this week; mostly because I really don't have any days left, but I'm regretting it, as one does, during the week between Christmas and New Year's.
But I'll survive. Hopefully it won't be too busy, and I can get some fiddly stuff done I never get around to doing, and still have time to look up wedding cake designs and fun things like that.
Currently I'm hoping I can find a cake topper/figurine type thing that is of the Tower Bridge. I'd like to have that as a topper because it Symbolises England and is Dave's favourite place in London. So far no joy, though.
I am thinking of doing one layer of actual cake, and then cupcakes as the 'other layers'. What do you think?
My sister got me this hoodie that says 'bride' on the front and has 'Carol and Dave, 2012' on the back. I love it so much. It's just fun.
Let's see, what else can I ramble on about?
Loving having a laptop. I feel like I'm totally in the 21st Century. I always found them sort of 'romantic', in that I imagined myself sitting in a picturesque park somewhere, writing my epic novel or poetry or something. Or, you know, a coffee house. Either one.
Anyway, I hope everyone has a great day and those who have to go to work have a day that flies by.

I love fancy cake places. There are a ton of wee shops here. :D
