Me being evil

I got another email from the person who responded to my child care ad - she wouldn't be able to pick Charlie up after school, which is really what I need the most. She sent me her ad that details the services she gives. This is what it said:

Hear is my add

Of course just because a person who gets two words wrong in a 4 word sentence doesn't mean she isn't a good child care provider. English might not be her first language. But it still made me giggle

I'm going to Hell.

no, you're not. I smiled as well (or, maybe, in case we are .. want to be in a cauldron next to mine?)

Well, I'm going to hell for wanting to molest your emoticon three ways to Sunday, but I can still look myself in the mirror every day.

And damn, I'm hot!

Anyway. If she's foreign, I see every hope for her being a great babysitter without such a great grasp of the written English word. If she's an American born and bred, I'd be worried. However, if she can't pick Charlie up from school-your greatest concern, then she won't do you a great deal of good.

When I was still in university and babysitting on weekends, I was part of a website called canadiansitter.ca where parents would post want ads for caregivers.

One ad began something like this:

Very busty mom seeking sitter for two-year-old and twin infants...

It took me a moment before I realized that she meant BUSY.

So amusing. Best of luck as you look for a new sitter. And good for you for getting rid of the old one.

Pitiful. It reminds me of a sign that I saw in a small town near where my parents live: "Lawn Mores Repared."

I wondered just what customs a lawn would have and how exactly you would take the rind or skin off them twice.

just a thought, but it's all probably the fault of spell check...
