Dear Pat Robertson:

Dude. You say God may send a natural disaster to this Pennsylvania town because they voted out 'intellegent design'? Well, working by that argument allow me to point something out.

Florida was hit by Hurricane Wilma

Louisana and Mississippi were hit by Katrina

A tornado tore across western Kentucky and Indiana on November 6.

Each of these states were largely 'red' states. Meaning they voted for Bush.

If we're going by national disasters as an indication of God's mood*, then maybe he isn't too happy with Republicans. So maybe you should rethink that comment. Before a house falls on you.

*which, for the record, I totally don't believe. Start thinking that, the next thing you know we're tossing virgins into volcanos

But can we toss Pat Robertson into a volcano? Pretty please?

He also says that they can't look to God for help now - 'cause God dropped manna from heaven on the dying Katrina victims, obviously. (Katrina actually did take out mostly Republican areas, as you point out.)

Somewhere in Heaven, God is shaking His head and saying, "Pat! Enough! I already have a Voice, and it's Alan Rickman!"

But seriously? Speaking as a Christian? Most of us have disowned him too. Please don't judge the rest of us by him. Please?

Well, technically that would fit the pattern, too. It is a town in Central PA which is heavily Republican (someone is voting for Santorum, after all) and frequently mistaken for the South.

But yay for them being sensible. ^^ And boo for Pat Robertson, who is clearly insane.

Oooooh, I don't know. Pat the ol' boy may be on to something.

I mean, you'll notice that Massachusetts has been positively roiling from all those hurricanes, tornadoes, and floods. And now that Maine has overwhelmingly reaffirmed the non-discrimnation act, well, tornadoes.

Oh, wait!

At least he didn't call for a fatwa on the school board president.

I think it is totally ridiculous. Some things are more important than biology such as Justice, well care etc. (Oh I only believe in Darwin... and maybe in God but oh well, as Marx said 'Religion is the opium of the masses'hehehe)

After a DE revel to please the fangirls hehehe

The man is a joke. The problem is too many people take him seriously.
