So the bad news is the husband's truck broke down again on Friday. Fortunately not too far from home. He needs a fuel pump, and it is basically going to cost the money we got as a Christmas gift from his parents. So win some, lose some. At least we're not down anything, really.

The good news is, I got a job...sort of.

The guy with the 'work at home' thing called. They are going to start me as a 'consultant' so I can continue to collect some unemployment, if this doesn't work out. I'll be doing 2 days a week in January, so I can train and learn the business and so forth, and then if I don't suck, it will go up to three days a week in February. After that, if I still don't suck, it will go full time.

Today I'm pretty much stuck at home, since the husband had to take the car - I can be Pollyanna about it and be glad that I'm not working, so he could do that without any hardship to us. Even if I did wind up spending the day here, it's kind of hard knowing I can't go anywhere, though.

I got more cards from some of you people today. People are far nicer to me than I deserve.

I think it is becoming an impossibility to seperate me from my iPod, by the way.
