Mommies are always right
After he was done with his homework, Charlie asked if he could go ride his bicycle.
"No," I replied, "It's too windy." And it is, really windy and cold.
So he played on the computer for a bit, until I had to get back on to do some work, and he went downstairs. Unbeknownst to me, he got his bicycle off the porch and took it outside. I should have known, really, the house was too quiet. Not long after this, the doorbell rings, and I go downstairs.
There's Charlie, standing at the foot of the stairs that lead up to the porch, holding his bike and wearing his helmet. He looks up at me, a look of surprise on his face and says, "You're right. It is too windy."
"No," I replied, "It's too windy." And it is, really windy and cold.
