Happy Birthday to Charlie
Charlie is seven years old today!
Took Charlie and his friend to Friendly's last night for a pre-birthday dinner. They sang happy birthday to him. He was very pleased. I was really sorry I forgot my camera because his whole face just lit up when they started singing. It was very cute. Then he and his friend attempted a campout/sleepover last night in a tent in our back yard. Went pretty well for most of the evening. They had fun in the tent, watching Finding Nemo on the portable DVD player, and they did, eventually, fall asleep albit it very late at night. Then Charlie's friend woke at 1 crying, (I think he had a nightmare.) and decided he needed to go home. He really tried hard not to want to, but it was his first sleepover.
So today is the Spiderman birthday party...Charlie just woke up and came into the room. He gave me a big hug and said "It's morning! I'm seven years old now!"
So off to feed the birthday boy breakfast!

I've had the thing with the sleepover and the "I want to go home". It's funny - about two days later.
Wish Charlie a lovely day from me.
