I'm baa-ck!
I do have a computer at home again. It is currently on the floor because I haven't moved my computer desk yet.
Everything else is moved, however. And by everything, I mean the big stuff. There are a million little things I still need to get, and don't realise I don't have until I look for them.
All the really big things are in, though, since I had extremely amazing people help me - some of the guys from the play came after rehearsal and moved all the heavy stuff, and of course, my BFFs
kirathaune,
pairika and "K", along with Kirathune's friend, helped so much. I felt like I wasn't doing anything at times.
Our first night was successful. I was sure Charlie would come into my room in the middle of the night - what with being in a new place and all - but he didn't. In the morning one of the first things he said was, and this is a direct quote, "This flat is awesome!"*
There is still much to do, but I did manage to get almost everything put away, and I went grocery shopping yesterday, so it is livable, and it is really quite nice.
Of course, there are drawbacks. The lady underneath me likes to watch televsion late into the night. I know this because I can hear it in my bedroom. I will have to come up with a polite way of asking her to turn it down. She probably got used to not having someone above her. And must be rather deaf.
So, I'm in the next chapter of my life. Hopefully it will be a good one, with an exciting plot and good character development.
*Yes flat. I said to him I was going to call it a 'flat' instead of an 'apartment', because it sounded cooler, and he decided to do the same.

So right now, your and Charlie's world is flat?
Seriously though, congrats on being mostly moved and on him adjusting well so far :) And very good luck on your life to come.

The TV thing: Go see the neighbour some night when she's actually blasting the TV. Sometimes people don't realize how loud they're being until they have to try to talk over the noise.
