And now for something completely different

Right.

So, I'm 42 now, you know. Officially 'in my 40s'. I do tend to flutter between 'heck, I'm still hip and youngish' and 'ack, I'm old!' but mostly I'm cool with it. I had a very nice birthday weekend, actually. My BFF threw me a party, and it was fun, an amalgam of my high school friends and my Shakespeare friends, but they all seemed to get along, so bonus.

I had an England dream last night. I'd be curious to see what a dream interpreter thought of my England dreams. I swear it's the same landscape every time, even if it probably looks nothing like England. The bit I remember the most was driving around to get to work, and then taking the bus (is it still a 'coach' there at all? I swear on Planet of the Dead they used the word 'bus'.) home, and while on the bus some people were talking about only stupid tourists go on the top bit, so I sat in the bottom. I had no idea where I was to get off the bus, and halfway home I realised I left my car at work and this made me panicky. There was also a cat on the bus, for some reason.

At one point in the dream I pointed out to myself it was a dream, so I could change the circumstances that my car was NOT left behind. And I still woke up kind of sad I wasn't in England. That's generally how those dreams end.

I'd like to thank all of you for your support and help over the last couple of days. I always know I can count on you all to just lend a virtual ear and shoulder and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Back to the day now. Enjoy yours!

The main difference between a bus and a coach is that buses are (mostly) used for local travel and tend to be fairly basic, whereas coaches are usually for longer distances and are more comfortable. Also, coach seats are usually booked in advance.

I hope you get a chance to come over here one day and see if England matches your dreams at all :-)

Good to know. When I DO get there, I'll not sound like a dumb tourist! :)

Maybe I can get there in time for your wedding! :)

Aha! You are now the answer to the Great Question of Life, the Universe and Everything!

Happy Belated B-day1

I didn't think of that. That's kind of cool.

I'm pretty sure I know where my towel is...

*huggles* I like your posts. Can't always say why. You're one of those online people I feel like I would like to get some coffee with and peoplewatch.

And I have no idea about dreams. Mine are strange too.

See, now we uni students ALWAYS sit on the top part of the bus, because screaming children and old people sit downstairs. It's very weird 'normal' people - aka, over the age of thirty - coming upstairs. Weird hush begins and then everyone begins chattering as usual.
