Random stuff and Charlie's dreams

This might be one of the funniest things ever. It's a video type thingy, so don't click if you don't have the access.

Is anyone else panicking about Christmas being next weekend? I'm so totally not ready yet. Sigh. I got the "Santa" presents done, but that's about it. Although I am proud of me - on my in-law side we do family pollyannas and this year we're doing 'family board games' and I got the Las Vegas Edition of Monopoly. I thought that was cool.

I got a note from Charlie's teacher yesterday. They were watching a portion of Disney's Fantasia, the bit that was to one of the Nutcracker songs, and there were dancing mushrooms, flowers, water, etc. Apparently Charlie was utterly fascinated by this and when it was over he said "That is how I want to dream."

What are family pollyannas? Charlie is too cute. lol

"That is how I want to dream."

Ooh, that's sort of cold-shivery and lovely.

What is a family pollyanna? (because you can't possible be getting together as a family to maim a Sue-ish overly-sweet girl, although if you were, THAT'd be a neat Christmas tradition).

er-Pollyannas - to pick names out of a hat and then give that person something? Like a Secret Santa only it's not a secret.

I like your idea better, though.

Well, it is a secret if the other person doesn't know you have their name. Why is it called Pollyannas, though? lol

I've said it before and I'll say it again...Charlie needs to be in an arts program when he's a bit older. He's got the interest!

I don't know. Probablly because the original Pollyanna was so sweet and was happy with whatever was given her, or something.

It was a book about a girl who was totally, annoyingly optimistic about everything until she gets hit by a car and is sad until she realises she got the whole town as annoyingly optimistic as she is. It was also a Disney movie starring Hayley Mills. :)

I've seen the movie. At least part of it.

The video - hahahahahahahahahaha! Am sending the link to my dad at work (his boss's boss is a complete idiot, who spends his time mucking things up so the "underlings" have to sort it out). Tee hee!

Oh. I've heard of that before (especially in large families, where every person buying something for every other person would be impossible), but you're the first person to ever put a name on it for me. :) Thanks.

Love that video!

I think I'll invent a version of my own; but mine will contain a lot more eff-words methinks!

I wouldn't mind dreaming those cute little mushrooms myself.

Best. Clip. EVER.

LOL, I really liked Fantasia, but if I dreamed like that, I'd be scared.

Video!

Now that is how I want to send some of my e-mails! Is there any way I can down load that lovely code, he uses in the video!
LMAO! Wow, and I thought I was the only one who used "bite me" at long last I can see I am not alone when angry!

Loving your snowman icon, too.

Every time I see one of those smilies :) I giggle now.

Bite me is one of my more favorite insults, too.
