This might be one of the funniest things ever. It's a video type thingy, so don't click if you don't have the access.
Is anyone else panicking about Christmas being next weekend? I'm so totally not ready yet. Sigh. I got the "Santa" presents done, but that's about it. Although I am proud of me - on my in-law side we do family pollyannas and this year we're doing 'family board games' and I got the Las Vegas Edition of Monopoly. I thought that was cool.
I got a note from Charlie's teacher yesterday. They were watching a portion of Disney's Fantasia, the bit that was to one of the Nutcracker songs, and there were dancing mushrooms, flowers, water, etc. Apparently Charlie was utterly fascinated by this and when it was over he said "That is how I want to dream."

on 2004-12-16 04:43 pm (UTC)I don't know. Probablly because the original Pollyanna was so sweet and was happy with whatever was given her, or something.
It was a book about a girl who was totally, annoyingly optimistic about everything until she gets hit by a car and is sad until she realises she got the whole town as annoyingly optimistic as she is. It was also a Disney movie starring Hayley Mills. :)

on 2004-12-16 03:06 pm (UTC)Ooh, that's sort of cold-shivery and lovely.
What is a family pollyanna? (because you can't possible be getting together as a family to maim a Sue-ish overly-sweet girl, although if you were, THAT'd be a neat Christmas tradition).

on 2004-12-17 07:19 pm (UTC)LOL, I really liked Fantasia, but if I dreamed like that, I'd be scared.

on 2004-12-22 03:39 am (UTC)LMAO! Wow, and I thought I was the only one who used "bite me" at long last I can see I am not alone when angry!

on 2004-12-22 02:23 pm (UTC)Every time I see one of those smilies :) I giggle now.
Bite me is one of my more favorite insults, too.
