Snow Day!

It is snowing like mad today, and school is closed. The nice thing is, for the first time in a long time I can just enjoy the snow day and not have to struggle into work. I can just enjoy the snow and the extra time with Charlie.

/Pollyanna moment

I had other things I was going to say, but I forget what they were. Oh well. I'll be back, I'm sure.

Lucky you! Here, it's just Southern winter, rain and cold wind.

Hey, that *is* a good point! :) I hope you enjoy the day at home with Charlie; I'm sure envious of anyone who didn't have to drive in this muck.

Wow, you are really lucky. We *never* have school cancelled here. And this is northeast Ohio, so we can get a lot of snow. I think school has been cancelled twice in the eleven years I've lived here. There have been days where every city around us has cancelled classes in their schools, but our schools are open. They seem to have some kind of hang up about cancelling. The really cruddy part is that some of the teachers have to drive pretty far to get to our city. Thus, they are driving a long distance in the crap weather that caused all the cities they have to drive through to close their schools.

Hope you and Charlie have a fun day together! - he's probably in heaven, having all this mom and Charlie time, isn't he?

Yay for a snowday! Enjoy your time with Charlie. Does he like to play outside in the snow?

interesting...same state, different perspectives..

Well, coming home from the graveyard shift....it was POURING RAIN...literally POUNDING rain. It washed away our first glimsp of snow the other day, which ironically the north jersey didn't have.

Same state, different perspective. And we live like abt 40 mins or less away from each other...hehe!

My mom lives up north, and she's always asking how's the weather down there. :-) Enjoy the special day with Charlie.

Have a lovely day in the snow with Charlie but be aware that *we want picture(s)*
You're very lucky. Unlike you, I was wearing a sweader in 74F (and feeling very sorry about it) today

Schools got closed, eh?? Yeay!! I havent watched the news. The puppy kept me up late, woke me up early, so we locked him in the kitchen so he can do his business there after we walked him, and then fell back to sleep.

Yeay!

*sniff*

I want snow.

Don't get much of it in southern New Mexico, though.
