But I'm enough of an attention whore that I'm going to say it anyway.

Busy work day today...oh, I just noticed there is a new auto save thingy on LJ. Interesting. Anyway...work is still pretty good. I wish they'd tell me if I was definitely going full time in March. I'd feel a lot better about life if I knew that.

Yesterday Charlie and I met my friend Trish at the mall and we wandered into Hot Topic, and I bought Charlie this postcard because, well... how could I not?:


It isn't a great picture. Unfortunately Charlie inherited my tendency to blink at flash photography, (It's why I never became a model, ha ha) but you get the general idea. I had to take the photo then because he even had a bit of chocolate on his mouth, to add to the realism.

You'd think with the working from home I wouldn't get confused when there's a holiday, but nonetheless, I still keep forgetting what day it is today. It doesn't help that House was on yesterday, totally throwing me off. Good episode though.

Right. Someone talk to me. I'm feeling very unloved recently.

Someone else pointed me in the direction of the P&P icons and I currently can't think of what the name of the comm is. Soon as I remember I'll let you know. Meanwhile, the ones I took were made by someone called mrbnatural so feel free to take.

Totally can't remember where I got the mood icons, either. I think I need more coffee.

Maybe you could disable flash light next time. I rarely use the flash, because pics are 'too white' and the true colours tend to disapear in my opinion.

Oh, I dunno. Just one of those things. Like, some of my recent posts didn't get that many comments, and instead of realising it is because I haven't said anything interesting, it made me feel all sad. Possibly it is hormonal. Or something. :)

Ah, responses! :) I seldom get any these days but I just know there are lurkers about with their cloaking devices,shy little creatures that they are.

Hormones are a bitch. I ate my own bodyweight in chocolate last week! It helped me. I just wish you could pop round to mine with cactus wren for a few bottles of wine and a giggle-fest!

Yeah, what was up with House being on on Monday? That was so incredibly crazy!

I was out of town all weekend...just checking in, that's why I didn't comment on Monday.

Um...I still think very highly of you. I like you. I think you are all that is amiable and worthy. And Charlie is adorable, as always. I want that postcard!

BTW-how was Hot Topic? Was it everything I think it will be?

Hot Topic makes me giggle because it is usually full of things I would've worn in High School (or at least things I'd wanted to have worn). I have to admit it does have some cool things. Lots of tee-shirts with things from Tim Burton movies, pretend concert tee shirts from old bands, that sort of thing. It's amusing.
