Some Joan of Arcadia stuff I just feel the need to share

Just finished watching JoA, and God told her to knit. Knitting is everywhere lately. Or I'm just noticing it. Anyway, they introduced this new guy called Ryan who apparently is another person who God talks to, and when he first came on the scene, the first few bars of Sympathy for the Devil played which I thought was totally clever. They ruined it a bit by playing more of the song at the end, when Adam drew a picture of Ryan, but considering the majority of people who watch JoA might not recognize the song, I guess it is okay. Definately a heavy hint about Ryan's role in the JoA universe, though. Don't you think?

In other news I just had to spend $200 on the vet because my kitty Butch is sick. Was dehydrated, and there may be something wrong with his kidneys. They did blood work, and I have to give him antibiotics. Poor kitty. I knew something was wrong when he wasn't miawing at me all morning for his breakfast.

Good night!

I hope he'll be okay. *hugs the kitty, and his mommy.*

Poor cat--I hope he'll be okay.

I thought the SftD music in the background was very clever. Ryan is spooky. Also, if that is whose side he turns out to be on, it's pretty ironic that he brought Adam back to Joan.

I thought it was clever, too, the SftD - especially since the first time they did it it was just the first notes. It made me laugh.

From what I understand, Ryan is another Joan, but he's resentful of God demanding things from him. I really hope the show gets a 3rd season.

It might not get a third season?! I hadn't realized that.

Oh, poor Butch. Hope he's okay.

I am weak. I looked at the JoA stuff. The second series hasn't started over here yet! Ah, well. At least I'll be able to listen out for the music and feel all smug!

How old is Butch? Hope he gets well soon.

He's 13 or 14 years old - we got him as a stray back in 1993, and he was about a year then, but we weren't sure.
