DW is going to be a complete "reboot" next series. New show runner, new Doctor and new companion. It will be strange not to have any form of carry-over but that's what happened when 2 regenerating into 3.
I tried the Crown and didn't finish. What I saw of it was pretty good. I stopped watching Victoria when she met Albert and I'm not sure if it's because I forgot or if there was conflict
