there is a signifcant difference in quality and design between one I buy at Target for $20 and one I buy at Nordstrom for $200 That is true. Terry Pratchett has this really funny passage in Men at Arms, I think it is, where his character Vimes thinks about how rich people can afford to buy a quality item (in this case, boots) that cost $50 and are so well made a person can hand them down to their children and they will still be in good condition, but poor people, who can't afford $50 will spend $10 on a pair of cheap boots that will wear out within a year, and eventually will have spent the same amount of money on boots as the rich people, only the rich people still have the original boots.
It's funnier when Terry says it, but you get the point.
This is why I love bargin shopping. It is always fun to find something of good quality for cheap quality pricing! :)
