Seriously. I mean I know it was the Puritans and all but the husband was gone. He'd left her. Why she and the stupid bloodless priest couldn't have just left...of course Demi Moore did that movie where they gave it a happy ending and it just sucked, so I suppose Hawthorne knew what he was doing.
Seven Gables was a better book, though.
I forgot to tell you how much Charlie loves having the Mahana Song!
