Idle thoughts on a rainy Friday
Jul. 23rd, 2004 02:09 pmNephew Gobo is a good name for a band.
How did Tom Riddle find out about his witch mother if she died when he was a baby and he was raised in a Muggle orphanage?
What kind of Karma do I need to actually have a job I love and am actually good at? Never seems to quite happen for me.
Sometimes I wish I could be Laura Petrie. You know, from the Dick Van Dyke show? Be a suburban housewife who still gets to occasionally rub elbows with famous people, and has a husband who sings and dances with me.
The back to school stuff is starting to appear on all the store shelves. I always liked back to school, even when I didn't like school all that much. I loved the potentiality of it. Just the fact that nothing happened yet and anything was possible.
I wish I still believed in Destiny. Although, when you think about it, that's lazy. If you believe in destiny, you don't actually have to do anything, because whatever is fated to happen will happen. So I'm amending that to, I wish I hadn't believed in destiny. I might actually have achieved something.
Anyway...enough time wasted.
