Frazier Moore is my new hero. He's an associated press critic who penned an article about the whole Buster Bunny bruhaha, and how utterly ridiculous it was.

I particularly like this paragraph:
The danger, such as it is, lies elsewhere. The episode's two couples -- Karen and Gillian, and their friends Tracy and Gina -- come across as perilously likable people and loving parents. They're awfully hard to distinguish from acceptable folks. It might be tricky, then, to convince a child who's "exposed to the lifestyles portrayed in this episode" that these women should be demonized for being who they are. As usual, information is a threat to blind prejudice.

Save Mr. Pinchy

Funniest line: "Consumers don't generally greet and meet an animal before they eat it," she said.

Yeah. Money sucks. Am trying desperately to catch up on all the bills and things - it's like juggling and I'm pants at juggling. Every time I think I'm almost there, something happens. Sigh. I'm getting there, though. Thank goodness for online banking.

In other news - did I mention I got a new cell phone? *Looks at previous statement about money* I know, but I got it for pretty much free after I get the mail in rebate. Upgraded our plan slightly and got the phones. I now finally have a flip phone and it has enough bells and whistles to keep me happy. It's not a picture phone, but I got the camera now, so I don't need a picture phone. It does have text messaging and there are little icons you can use, which is amusing.

Not really sure why I'm rambling, as I obviously have nothing of import to say, but I'm just killing time before Gilmore Girls.

Every one think healthy thoughts for [livejournal.com profile] purplemer3 and [livejournal.com profile] zakkati as they are both having icky headaches and things. And [livejournal.com profile] gehayi as she has health problems too, while I'm on the subject.

Well, I've wasted enough space. Off to go make sure Charlie isn't sitting naked in his room playing Gamecube, as he just got out of the tub.
