OMG! Tired and stuff.
May. 9th, 2005 08:43 pmHi to
bikerchic37 who is actually a real life friend that I've known since college. I've converted her to LJ. Ha! Now I can't talk about you any more. (kidding!)
First day at work was good. I think the work will be interesting. People are nice, and the guy in the little store in the building gave me a free cup of coffee since it was my first day.
Our automotive woes continue, but I think the end is in sight. (cross fingers, pray to the god of transportation or any god who happens to be listening) My sister let me borrow her car for tomorrow, as she isn't going anywhere with the new baby and all, and hopefully the truck will be totally fixed by tomorrow night.
Turns out Charlie had a Mother's Day plant for me from school, but forgot to bring it home. The sad thing is, the teacher sent a message saying they left it on my porch, but it wasn't there. So, no plant. But I feel less forgotten
A few random thoughts at the end of a tiring day:
Anne Rice is weird
The "Runaway Bride's" life is none of our business
I don't care that Jennifer Garner is pregnant, but yet it's in the news
I'm really beginning to think that the people who make the Harry Potter movies are turning Hermione into a Mary Sue
And that's all I can think of right now. I'm tired and my pockets hurt.
