mumble mumble, cursing, mumble

Well, my compter is infected with spyware - it ate my desktop wallpaper and won't let me go in to that at all.

Does anyone have a good recommendation for a anti-spyware software I should buy?

When I use this computer I pretty much do LJ, maybe www.comics.com and that's about it. I checked the history and there are things like 'xratedllist' on it, so, unless that's a spyware thing, I'm guessing Hubby visited those sites and that's where the spyware came from.

'Tis very annoying.

The other annoying thing is it is 6:45 on a Saturday and I'm awake because Hubby has to go to work and decided it was important to wake me and tell me about the computer at 6am.

Sigh.

Well I took everyone's advice and downloaded Spybot and Ad-aware, and I bought this thing called spy sweeper, and eventually the computer was cleaned.

So thanks for all the help. 'Tis much appreciated.

And just one more reason why I love LJ so very much. What would I do without you all? I don't want to know.
