Highlights from Charlie's party
Sep. 4th, 2006 09:15 amLook what Charlie made using this computer program called "Corfex":

Cute, isn't it?
His birthday party was really nice. The weather was good, probably because you all sent out good vibes, and the kids had a great time.
They each got an autograph book, and before the game the players sit outside their dugout and sign autographs. That was fun. Especially for my friend and me. Those players are quite handsome. :)
The fun zone, where the party was held, is near the 'bull pen' where the extra pitchers hang out. at one point, while we were standing there, a foul ball came towards the players, and one of them picked up the ball and handed it to Charlie. So then his friend D wouldn't leave that spot, hoping against hope another ball would come his way. Suprprisingly it did. So then Charlie's other friend, N, wanted a ball too, but what are the odds of three kids in the same party getting a ball? Not good.
So a bit later, I was standing with Charlie and one of the pitcher guys called us over, and he handed Charlie another ball! I told him to give it to Nicky, which he did. So, miracle. All three boys in the party got a game ball. The husband thought that was the best thing ever.
So it was a good day, Charlie had his baseball party and got a Moon in my Room which is already his most favorite thing ever.
Today we are off to the in-laws. That should be fun. Happy labor day everyone.
