I have the best son in the world...
Sep. 28th, 2006 10:21 amCollingswood Shakespeare Company is doing a scene at the Collingswood Book fair on the 7th of October (at 11:30, for those of you in the neighborhood). We are doing a scene from Macbeth - the witches. My husband, believe it or not, is playing Macbeth. Someone from the company was going to do it, but couldn't in the end, so I asked if he'd step in and, much to my surprise, he said yes. He's having fun.
I can't remember if I mentioned this, but when Charlie saw me do my short scene in 12th Night, he said afterwords that my voice was pretty, which was really sweet.
Yesterday I had our witches over to practise, and Charlie was upstairs on the computer, playing with the Corfex program we have. Toward the end of our rehersal he came down with a piece of paper.
"Stop the rehersal!" he said, "I have something for my mommy." and he handed the paper to me:

It's a bit hard to read, so here is the text, format and spelling just as he did it:
Dear Mom
when you are in a play
your act is Beutiful
I love you so much because
your voice sounds Pretty.
But this letter is for my Mommy
But that I love you so much
your voice is so pretty.
Love Charlie
