NPH is awesome. Emmy voters, not so much
Sep. 21st, 2009 02:20 pmI DVR'd the Emmy's simply because of Neil Patrick Harris, then wound up watching the whole bloody thing more or less 'live' thanks to NPH.
It was annoying to me that the same people who always win, won. Hugh Laurie should have won. NPH should have won. That guy from The Big Bang Theory should have won. House should've won. I don't actually think 30 Rock is all that funny, actually.
The Doctor Horrible thing was just perfect. I literally squeed when "Captain Hammer" showed up. Did not expect that at all.
Oh, and Neil was so cute in the beginning. There was just the faintest of quavers in his voice when he first started speaking; he was all cute and blinky and nervous, but totally in control and smooth. Have I mentioned I love him?
Not too many Kanye jokes. I liked Neil's 'It's my job to keep things running smoothly, so I hope Kanye likes 30 Rock.'
