Oct. 29th, 2012 01:33 pmYeah, even though I'm way inland, Hurrican Sandy is coming my way, and thus Charlie is off school, my hsuband is off work, and my temp job office is closed now (though I went in this morning.)
It's slightly ironic, I think, that I was working on something that had to do with Hurricane Katrina while a hurricane is heading my way.
I downloaded a book on my PC kindle yesterday called Alice in Zombieland. It's a YA, and it is really good so far. While I was at work I had this silly thought that ran 'boy if I get killed going home, I won't get to finish that book.' and then I wondered if there are any ghosts hanging about simply because they were in the middle of a really good book when they died.
So far I think my parents are still doing okay, although they are near the Jersey coast (South) so I am a bit worried.
Good luck to everyone on the eas coast. I do hope no one has to deal with anything too disasterous.
