Charlie came home today with four gifts for me wrapped, with his teacher's help, in orange tissue paper. The gifts were, as follows:
1. Handmade sharks-tooth necklace, made from clay
2. A totem pole made from a paper-towel tube and construction paper
3. One igloo made with some sort of clay and a styrofoam bowl
4. One dinosaur magnet that he got as a reward in speech class
He did this all on his own. He did this because he wanted to give me presents for my birthday.
Possibly the best presents I ever got.
Totally makes up for the fact the Husband is going to band rehersal tonight instead of spending the evening with me.
And also, the well wishes from all of you on EL-Jay is the nicest thing ever. You guys are awesome, and I love you all. Sincerely.
