Last night Charlie crawled into my bed. He doesn't do that too frequently anymore, but it was his first night home, and I think he just wanted reassurance. I cuddled with him, and tried to drift back into sleep.
The problem was, my husband, who currently is suffering with a sinus infection, started to snore, each snore gradually increasing in volume until he'd reach the top of his pitch, as it were, and start again.
Finally Charlie whispers to me, 'Can you make him stop? It's annoying.'
