I've nothing of any import to say. I'm having one of those days. I was thinking about commenting on the whole cartoon kertouffle that's going on, but I don't really understand it. From what I gather, the Danish paper ran the cartoon, some Islamic group asked that they not do that, so they ran more cartoons just to spite them, and now people are killing people. Where is the logic?
I'm for freedom of the press, but there is also such thing as being understanding. It's such a grade school, 'nanaya nanaya' thing to do on the paper's part, and the fact that the more militant types took this incident and turned it to their advantage is just sad. I don't think anyone is in the right, at this point.
Anyway...I am thinking of trotting of to Target and seeing if I can find a cheap pair of jeans for myself, since I've lost weight and am optimistically hoping I will continue to do so. I'd like to lose 14 more pounds by April. Any suggestions on how to do that is welcome.
