My cat is doing much better, by the way. He has a thyroid problem. The antibiotics seem to be clearing up whatever infection he had, and he is much more cheerful and lively, as evidenced by the strip of skin he took off my hand when I gave him his medicine this morning.
Hyper or hypo? Our gray tabby is hyperthyroid; he was diagnosed about three years ago. The vet has him on Tapozol for it, so we've had to come up with some creative ways to get his pills down him. He got wise to us hiding the pill in his treats, so Mom's moved on to crushing it up and mixing it in with some tuna. He just laps it right up. And it keeps our skin intact :)
