Santa baby...

Can't tell you how many times a day I make up an LJ entry in my head, but never get the chance to write it down, and then when I am sitting in front of the computer, all the extremely brilliant things I'd thought of before are just gone from my mind.
At any rate, I wanted to get in a quick "Merry Christmas" to all who celebrate it while I was sitting here. It's a warm, rainy day in NJ, so it doesn't feel like Christmas is just around the corner at all, but, round the corner it is, and I hope everyone is ready for it.
I think I am. I'm still waiting for that magical moment where I feel the Christmas spirit upon me but it hasn't happened yet. However, I'm pretty confident Charlie is feeling it, and that is the important thing.
My BFF got us all (and by all, I mean me, Charlie, herself and her kids) tickets to see High School Musical on Ice.
I admit it freely. I'm looking forward to it. I like HSM. It's fun, the music is good, and fun to sing along to, and the message is nice. Charlie is a bit disappointed Ashley Tisdale won't be in it, but he's excited too.
Speaking of girls...we went to the aforementioned BFF's bowling night on Friday, and her daughter was hanging out with a friend, and that friend told my friend's daughter that she thought my Charlie was cute!
It's starting already.
Yikes.
Anyway, I hope you are all enjoying the run-up to the holiday, and I hope your families aren't making you too mad, and I hope that you find a bit of that elusive Christmas Spirit.
Lots of love from me.
