Those sort of reactions are why I hate the phone so much. That and I never know who's on the other end of the line when I pick it up (though caller id on my Cell is a lovely thing no mysteries there). Conversations with people face to face is hard enough, but at least you can look for things for clues. On the phone it's just the voice. A voice that's distorted too. But I'm just rambling now.
