obligatory Doctor Who Squeeing

I'm successfully turning Charlie into a Doctor Who fan. He really likes the Sonic Screwdriver. I'm very tempted to buy him the torch that is for sale on Amazon.com.
Anywhoodle...Firstly, "Volcano Day" was a Captain Jack thing, right? I'm not going mad, am I?
I loved this episode. I really, really like Donna. I think 'people mistaking them for a couple' will be a running gag, and one that I will enjoy. It's time for him to just have a mate, and Donna is great for him because she argues with him, and, while she respects him, she doesn't worship him.
I laughed for hours over the "I am Spartcus" "And so am I" thing. And the 'speaking Celtic' thing. That just cracked me up.
And then the show, once again, went and made me cry. When Donna said to just save some one, I just lost it. They did such a good job of conveying the whole tragedy of the volcano. The alien du jour was interesting, if not terribly challanging, but I think the real drama was the idea that there are things you just can't fix.
I was a bit worried the volcano would have Charlie worrying about volcanoes, but he seemed fine with it.
I loved the end bit where we see the family in their new life, the son all ambitious, and the daughter leading a normal life, and the altar for the household gods being Donna and the Doctor...cried again. Stupid show.
Oh, it took me a half an hour before I realised the prophesy 'She is coming back' meant Rose. I am a bit slow. And I wonder what is on Donna's back?
So, what was your favorite or not so favorite bit?
