The link doesn't work for me either, but assuming it's the new adaptation of Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy, you are absolutely correct.

Believe it or not, I suggest you seek out the original mini series starring Alec Guinness in Oldman's role and Michael (the Valeyard from Doctor Who) Jayston in Cumberbatch's. It's quite good
