So, they don't seem to be blocking LJ at work anymore, which is A Good Thing. I keep waiting for that stupid '60 minute quota' thing to pop up, but so far, so good. So I can, at the very least, read everyone's journal, even if I don't always have time to respond.

So yay.

So...my life, an update:

I do still have a boyfriend, in case you are all wondering, and it's going very well. For Valentine's Day he got me a genuine authentic replica of the "Royal Engagement Ring". No it isn't an actual engagement ring. It's just kind of a joke between us as we are both ridiculous anglophiles. It's quite pretty however, and I am very fond of it.

Charlie is doing okay - he was having some behavioural issues earlier, but that seems to have straightened out, at least for now, so that's good.

He's on this anti-Beiber kick, which is amusing, but I had to give him a Talking To last night because he was getting far too negative. He was making up a song where he said stuff like 'I hope you die', and I told him in no uncertain terms that is Not On.

I told him he's allowed to make fun of Justin Beiber but he's not allowed to be cruel about it.

He totally gets that from his father, BTW. Seriously. The Ex has a habit of saying things like 'I hope you die' to things he doesn't like. In jest, but still...it's annoying.

We are inching our way toward Spring, which is nice. I need some nice weather.

What's up with you guys? Tell me one nice thing that happened to you recently.

That is good you had a talk to him. My husband is like that, and I have to make sure that Hailey isn't like that.

Well, I am still looking for a job. UGH! I wish I could say something fruitful came of my interviews, but at least I am getting those.

Really pleased that Charlie is doing so well. And the Justin Bieber thing is possibly something that kids who don't have Charlie's understanding might need to be pulled up on. Have you been able to point out to his father how he needs to be aware that Charlie can't discriminate what adult behaviour he shouldn't copy ?

I used to have that same problem when I was Charlie's age, getting carried away with the "X sucks and I hope he dies" kind of joking. I'm glad you talked to him about it, it really isn't cool or all that funny. (But Bieber is pretty sucky, I'm glad he doesn't like him.)

Nice thing... hmm. Well, I'm still pregnant, I suppose that's nice in that I have a little more time to myself. :)

Did you hear about this woman in Mexico that was on hunger strike outside the British Embassy in Mexico City because she DEMANDS that she gets a seat in Westminster Abbey for the wedding...

It's completely crazy, you'll get a far better view on TV :)

I've not decided if I'm going to be watching yet. We get an extra Bank Holiday for it so we might take the opportunity to go away for a few days.
